But not simply because she killed the guy. Instead because this stellar example of INHUMANITY was taped joking about it in jail a week after the previously convicted drunk driver had mowed the cyclist down.

The whole story is right there in the last sentence. She was previously convicted of drunk driving but still had a license. Why we don't permanently revoke someone's driving privileges the first time they drive drunk is absolutely beyond me.

There are many more just like her out there right now. Driving their cars, not paying attention to cyclists.
By far most motorists look out for us, but THEY ARE OUT THERE.

Her license was suspended at the time. You get a 1-year suspension for your first DUI - sometime you're allowed to drive to/from work only. My co-worker got a DUI and could drive to work, but he had to wear a GPS device on his ankle.

This is lightyears better than the typical brand of justice that gets dispensed when one of us is murdered by one of them.
