That is pretty funny. Unfortunately, that is what has happened to Florida after developers drained the land and built entire retirement cites with no real supporting industry.
Like this city, or town or whatever it is who's town square was built less than 5 miles from my high schools' girlfriend's house. (she lived in the middle of nowhere, I thought)

we used to go out there and smoke weed and pick magic mushrooms when we were board teenagers, probably where "main street" is.
I really can't believe it. I grew up in the county the city is in. This place didn't even exist last time I was in Florida 4 years ago! It just sprouted out of the ground along with several master planed gated communities.
I threw up in my mouth a bit when I was looking at the website. I liked Florida better in the mid 80's when there were more alligators than people. No fuckin' way I'm going back.

THe saddest part is all cities up to now are/were designed and built around individual transportation. I attended a course in Georgia recently and wanted to go out to eat. The hotel offered a ride but I wanted ot walk. I couldn't actually walt to a place to eat either safely or legally I think. forget about cycle paths, there were no walkways either!!!!!!
If there's a will there's a way.........there is no will to build cities where the city centre is mostly pedestrian or peds on bikes with an exclusion zone. GOD just imagine, we'd all be fit because we'd be using our legs!!! Gyms would go broke because no one would need one lol.
aaagh just imagine.........................

@Mook
Someone needs to give them Alligators some form of Viagra, time to even out the playing field.
@limeyfly

Push-ups alone don't do justice y'know.

From what I know, the alligators breed like crazy, but the population is very well regulated via hunting season. You have to get a license that costs a bit over $200 to snag a gator legally.
Driving across the wetlands with my parents I remember seeing poached gators with there tails cut off and left for dead. I'm sure they didn't have a permit.

Both my mom and bio-dad were from Malaysia.
They always used to talk about angry Croc's hunting the hunters.
I heard crazy shit about Croc's being cut open and 2-4 skulls being found inside.
Of course, they were hunted for food though.
The rest of these shitheads usually hunt 'em for skin-leather and whatnot.
