The Bike Oven is closed pending reorganization. This is due to ever-increasing internal thefts of Bike Oven property, cash and resource mismanagement, and other problems.

 Wow. I hope the B.O. comes back stronger than ever.
Cyclists can't afford to lose this valuable resource.
I just don't understand the mentality of stealing from a non-profit.

It was discussed on KillRadio that Harv and Chickenleather are willing to have mediation to help them come to a concensus for future direction.

I may be interested in becoming more involved, if wanted.

 THE BIKE OVEN IS NOT CLOSED.

a core group of volunteers managed to keep the bike oven open for business as usual.

these core members are determined to continue to serve the NELA and Greater Los Anegels Cyclists despite internal conflict brought on by 2 individuals.

the group understands there are issues that need to be dealt with but should not let these issues interfere with providing a valuable service to the bicycling community.

We welcome any and all help to maintain the bike oven open and continue to provide its services to a community at large.
