As soon as your spoke card (front) for your ride is complete, please send to XL (Scott Chase) ASAP as we will be producing the first card for that day (100) each for you – these will also be displayed at the art gallery showing for LA Ridazz on that Thursday, September 20

VERY IMPORTANT:
If you want to be a part of the "puzzle spoke card" for Bike Angeles and are putting on an event/ride, please contact XL (Scott) for configurations and get working on them as they will need to be received by the end of next week.
our printer (Sheena) is helping us out big time - these spoke cards will be made for you and to be picked up after September 1st ....

We are paying for them to be completed.
All you will have to do is pick them up.
Our printer is leaving for vacation and we are on a quick deadline. These spoke cards will be done professionally and look absolutely amazing - please get them to XL by Thursday!

Puzzle Spoke cards:
because they are very expensive, i was only able to make a few. next year, i will plan this out better, promise.
all ride leaders will receive a full 10 card puzzle spoke card layout for all of their efforts in creating FUN for their ride :)
i ask that the ride leaders create their own spoke cards (they do not have to be puzzle pieces) for your ride.
i apologize for any inconvenience as next year i will find a more affordable solution for this idea i had.

i just want to thank everyone who has put effort into making Bike Angeles happen: bringing F.U.N., creating, doing, being, ride leaders, party planners, cheerleaders, logo creators, spoke card designers, makers, producers, impromtu visiting polo players, the "fates" for TDF falling on Saturday, bikes (in general), art show galleries, velodrome in art space gallery (moving it from Vegas to LB), Shues (cause he always calls at the right time), NuNu and Weezy for their flyer, squirrels and Jackie for creating something that will blow your mind tmrw night!!!! Katbear for bringing me a house tmrw night =)

i have learned a lot this year. i wanted to do more. i tested a few things out. had some meetings. drank too much and thought bigger than could be produced. so, this week, the rest of THIS is ALL YOU!
as Troy says, "a bike ride is only as good as those who come. so, come!" have F.U.N.!!!! take care of each other! introduce yourselves to the noobs, and....
remember Jerico whose life was taken too soon. think about how lucky you are to have lived ALL the years you have. celebrate the life you have, expect nothing but what you put in. and let's celebrate our bike world!!!

@Kakihara - It'll be a level 2 of 4. 4 being the fastest. We won't drop anyone on our way to the meetup w/ Cyclones near USC, and we'll do all the stair climbing together. For those folks that don't want to climb Griffith, they can cut out early or meet us at the burger spot post-ride.
I am however considering meeting up w/ Wolfpack at 10pm if we get done in time...

I wish there were a way to comment/ask questions on the ride pages themselves (roadblock?)
Anyway, will we be carrying our bikes on these stair climbs? Maybe that's an insane question, but I never know with some of you high-octain "athletes!" I am training for a 75-story climb in two weeks http://www.kintera.org/faf/home/default.asp?ievent=1027666 so I need to get more stairs in, but I don't want to blow my knees and back out lugging my bike on my shoulder. I'm assuming we ride, lock up, climb, etc.
I may need to meet up at the first climb, at USC. Is there someone I can contact to find you then?

CubCamp / Cyclones / Wolfpack.
The trifecta is confirmed. CubCamp is leaving at the same time as Cyclones, meeting up at the big airplane by USC around 8:45. Then we mess around until we meet up w/ Wolfpack - they'll do Griffith Park, then split off while we eat burgers.
So the pace of the ride will get progressively faster throughout the night.
