Hey guys I'm soo excited about tonight but unfortunately I can't take my bike. I have to drive. Does anybody know where the closest place to the entrance that I could park at?

 There's plenty of street parking on 2nd, northwest of Figueroa, and even more on Bixel and Glendale. I wouldnt worry about it. Harder to find beer Downtown at nite than free parking.

Also would like to take this opportunity to put some $$$ on Yung Timmy from 818 Polo, the freshly minted State Champ of Track Cycling. Im settin the line at a top half of the field finish for him and Im takin the over with a hook for the podium. Also willing to stoke the fires of a hot citywide rivalry he is brewing up with Jack Lindquist. Side pot payout for when he smokes big Jack. Any takers???

Excellent excellent event. Any time you can get people to stick around for six hours of a sporting event they're not participating in, you know you've got a winner.

Was the drag race always done from east to west?
