It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of "Uncle Nicky"
Midnight Ridaa and Dad of our beloved Sexy passed away this week.
Nick was also the uncle of my good friend Jonny Pacific, (who drew the spokecard /poster artwork for All City Toy Ride #6).
Personally it has always been a source of inspiration for me to see Sexy riding his dad around on a tandem at various Midnight Ridazz and related rides.
Sexy has been known to talk a lot of shit here in the past about his expectations of people and politicians, but one of the many reasons I love and respect this guy so much is that he somebody who lives out his ethics, a perfect example of that, was how he honored and cared for his dad.
@ Sexy, I've really missed seeing you and your dad around. I just want you to know that even though I couldn't be there yesterday, my thoughts have been with you and your family all week.
Maybe that's something I should have written privately.
But I know you from Midnight Ridazz and you've made your awesomeness quite public. So I hope you don' t mind me saying this here.
My sincere condolences for your loss and my deepest love and appreciation for the example you set for our community and the world. Thanks for introducing us to your amazing dad. He will be missed...
Uncle Nicky, Rest in Peace.
Sincerely,
Trickmilla

He's to humble to admit it, but Mr. Sexy has been a truly selfless person taking care of his pops with such love and dedication for the last few years in a way that not many would. Sexy basically gave up normal life to take care of his dad every day cleaning him and feeding him, taking care of his every need and making sure that he had a comfortable living right up to the end. Sexy loved his dad and it showed so much in the end.

Yes..I had the pleasure of meeting Nick and riding with him and Sexy..I admire Sexy for taking that role . Yesterday I got to see a bunch of Nick's old photos and met his extended family. I got a clear sense that he was a stand up guy ,great father and husband. He had some cool pics of his youth. Smiling in each of those pics.Ride On Nick!!

I'm not good with words, but Sexy is a really good son and good person for the selfless time and energy he used to take care of his dad over the last few years.
After learning what it is sort of like to handle taking care of a parent with dementia/Alzheimer disease from my conversations about it and brief experiences, I do not wish that experience on anyone.
The photo of Sexy with Uncle nick on the back is very powerful. Sexy would take his dad out on rides for SFVCM and other rides many times. His dad was always smiling and seemed to have a blast on the rides. I have many fond memories of Uncle Nick. I am happy he is finally at rest. I also hope very much that Sexy will be able to feel like riding with us all again soon. He is missed.
David, you are a great example of how to lead and love without asking for anything in return. You are my personal Rida Of The Next Three Years... oh yeah.
