 I'm sure Roadblock knows, but from the angle, I'm guessing it must be somewhere on Mt. Lee, maybe at the Hollywood sign or on the roads leading up to it.

Check it out sometime, if you haven't already. It's pretty neat up there.

 Nah. It's definitely not Echo Park. The perspective in that photo is so flat that downtown must be way off in the distance. In fact, if my map nerd triangulation instinct is correct, you can actually see the Dream Center on the left, in the middle ground before the skyscrapers, which would mean that we're almost looking at Echo Park.

 I have a feeling it's Elysian Park. The the stairway to heaven near the police academy and you get a view of the whole city.

 there's way too many neighborhoods between the view point and downtown for it to be that close to downtown. but i may be wrong.... upon more inspection it may be around echo park but i have no idea
