...Looking to forward to the rides over there!! Never been to one in 818..only LA rides :\
....Any rides in particular coming up that I should check out? Also, any good bikes shops??

Bike Factory Woodman and Burbank is the only shop u need for repairs used parts. Fancy overpriced stuff go elsewhere. Polo is on Sunday at 4pm at NoHo park.

stay away from bike john's, i've heard nothing but weird things about the people they choose to hire. plus its downright expensive, but if you want to go window shopping, thats the place to go
metropolis if you need just your basic essentials they have stuffs.

Torelli is a cheap spot for good Pizza. Right off the bike path in NoHo.
They always have beer and weed.

Bike Factory is the only one of its kind, yes used parts. U must go there to understand. No used complete bikes. U probly wont find sti shifters or good quality at the price u suggested. Downtube shifters new on a new frame you will though.

Years ago Morey built as in welded a track bike form scratch no lugs and then years after that he cut off the dropouts and replace them with the derailer hanger kind, thereby converting a legit track frame he raced and won on at the Encino Velodrome to a fully geared roadbike. It's the green one he rides to the shop everyday. He also built his mtn bike form scratch and al those other freaky looking time trial frames hanging up in the shop. Nobody can true a wheel bettewr than him, I've tried every other big time shop in LA and he smokes them all in every category. And he can carve wood like whoa.
