This would be cool. What part of town do the ALC kids arrive to?

A couple of team riders were even saying it would be cool to see some tall bikes at the welcome home ceremony. Then they'd know fer sure they were home. It'd be a good time to show the MR t-shirts we bought from RB.

Closing ceremonies for ALC is at the VA in WLA at 4pm. There will be a ride from the Bike Kitchen at 2pm to go meet them. Team MR will ride back to the Bike Kitchen after closing ceremonies end.
Team Midnight Ridazz now has 22 ridazz and they will have covered 545 miles, wearing Team Midnight Ridazz jerseys.
Let's go meet them and welcome them home.

Angelopes is a slo ride. I bet they dont want to ride all the way to westwood on freak bikes. Maybe they are willing to set the route so it goes past the kitchen when the ALC kids make it back to the kitchen.

Mr. Rollers et al put together a ride to the end that starts at Melrose + Heliotrope. Los Angelopes should definitely join in the festivities.

let me talk to a couple of peeps and see what we can do. We had some birthday plans for E-Rock and Rev Dak which were going to occur in Eagle Rock, so I have to figure out how to make everything happen. I'll keep you posted. No promises but I will do my best to accommodate everyone. Regardless it will be a fun day.

So are we going to have an east side to los angelopes ride?
I'm gonna ride Billy (newly upgraded and repaired and such) so the pace shouldn't have to be insanely slow, unless there's other minis that like need the uber slowness.

@fuzzbeast
If I finish my tall bike I will ride that if not I'll ride the wildflower that I rode the other night. either way I'll be as slow as you. I'm gonna start from DTLA.

yo fuzz!
any and all angelopes are of course welcome to start from the GBA (look it up) a.k.a. "The E-HO Bike District" or T.E.B.D.
and ride out with us. its great to have a westside start too....anyone from the west wanting to ride to the VA should join the Los Angelopes out there!
here is the info again from Rollers' post:
Welcome Home ALC Ridazz

After closing ceremonies, the team is supposed to ride to the Bike District. Arrangements have been made to have their duffle bags and personal stuff hauled there from the ALC pickup area.

Angelopes will be going a different direction after the ceremonies. Bring your park toys (jump rope, chalk, soccer balls, etc...) We are going to have a play day in the park.
brassknuckle06.5.08 - 10:37 am
reply
It sure would have been cool if you could have ridden back with the team. Unfortunately, we had to throw the whole thing together before they left town since they had to make arrangements on where to get picked up.
Maybe next year when zuko predicts it will be an even bigger team doing the ALC.
