I really want to go to this exhibit. Maybe Fuzz can oversee the coordination of a ride for this if your available? And another opportunity for a Punk Playlist...

And speaking of Exene, X is celebrating their 31st (can you believe it?) Anniversary by having a tour which includes 2 shows at the Music Box. Tickets are on sale for the Friday, April 11th, show (1st show sold out). Anyone interested?

I <3 Alicia "Alice Bag" Armendariz so much. She is a married elementary school teacher with a teenaged daughter and is still punker than most of you.

Is Alace Bag in Pedro?
I really enjoyed the few songs I've heard by the Bags.

I got to work on a documentary interview with her in 1998 for Seattle's Museum of RnR. Ya know, come to think of it, she mentioned some guy in a bandana being one of her biggest fans. I still have her telephone number. Exene and Jon were also part of that doc interview.

Yes, please.
Riding TO Claremont? Hm. I can try. But with all the downhill coming FROM Claremont, I'm a little bit a-scaredddd.

Oh, i wasn't suggesting a ride to C-mont as it sounds like your ride back from Fuzz's show was great. But i don't know the area (that well) and was thinking a similar route could be taken to ride back to LA.

50% markup, what a joke for printing out a piece of paper!!!! It probably costs them less than $2 a transaction to manage this shit.

I just won't buy tickets with ticketmaster fees. There. Simple.
I don't care who plays.
I can listen to x-punk rockers elementary school teachers at Mr T's for free every week. Srsly. I think mr T's is wholly funded by
UTLA

That is definitely the solution. But I'm too addicted to some of my old favorites to miss them when they play Spaceland, the Echo, or even the Wiltern. I should just start taking my chances on getting tickets at the door.

In my formative years as a greek freak teenager if we didn't bust the doors to get in it wasn't rock n roll. I never got into the habit of buying tickets for concerts.
When I first came to the US I did buy a ticket for the Rolling Stones. They were playing in Candlestick Park in SF. I looked at the obedient masses waiting patiently in line to get in and I thought it was so disgusting. Turned around, sold my ticket, never bought a ticket for a big concert again...
Stev04, sorry we hijacked your thread. The truth is that the Fuzzbeast show was a unique performance. You can't just go and see it again. You would have to recreate it from scratch and most importantly bring back the same audience. You are better off just going to the next Antelopes ride and I think that's the point Fuzz was trying to make.

I wasn't trying to make any correlation to Fuzzbeast's special event. I am only bringing this up as a suggestion as its not often the Claremont has a Punk Rock related show (and as you know, Punk Rock Permeates through this community) and that local knowledge of the area may be beneficial in picking roads for the return. From what i read and saw in the pix, Fuzz's show was a fantastic event and if my schedule had permitted, i would have gone too.
