On Saturday, February 6, 2010 the Flying Pigeon LA bike shop (located at 3714 N. Figueroa St., Los Angeles, CA 90065) is hosting a bicycle ride to the
Eagle Rock Brewery (located at 3056 Roswell Street, Los Angeles, CA 90065) to sample beer, partake in some good food (details to come or bring your own), and take in the sights of historic Cypress and Glassell Park in North East Los Angeles.
Meet at the Flying Pigeon LA bike shop at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2010. The ride departs at 2:15 p.m. The Eagle Rock Brewery will open their doors to us, with $5 pints of their various locally crafted beers and a tour of their brewing facilities.
Age 21 and older only allowed into the brewery, but we'll make accommodations for the younger crowd (and anyone bring their kids along for the ride). Bicycles will be available for rent, at our Get Sum Dim Sum Ride rates - $10 per bike, but availability is pretty limited on these so RSVP soon.
Getting to Flying Pigeon LA by Metro - we're served by the 81 and 83 lines and are just blocks away from the Heritage Square Gold Line Station.
By car, 110 Freeway, exit Avenue 43, left on Figueroa St., park at Avenue 37 and N. Figueroa St.
