didn't want this to get buried in the other thread: in case any of you are planning on attending this, we had to change the meeting point to Fred 62 on Vermont near Franklin in Los Feliz Village.
6:30am for pancakes, roll by 7:30 to get to Griffith Park where the ALC event meets.

It was nice meeting everyone at breakfast yesterday morning. I was kinda bummed that i hit a rock and got a pinch flat by Forest Lawn in the first mile. I was right behind you and Gary. By the time i got things sorted, the whole group was long gone. I ended up catching up with the tail end of the group but then a TRL and i stayed with a new rider (she made it to the finish on her mtn bike) who was all alone and riding very slow.
I look forward to seeing everyone again on the next one.

Great ride everyone, I'm really excited for this team & and it was a great training kick off. Nice seeing everyone together at breakfast. I know you were a little concerned about the advanced course at first Cathy, but you rocked it. The 5 mile hill climb on La Tuna Canyon road was excellent, and something we will have to incorporate into our own training rides in the future.
Bummer to hear about the flat Stevo, I thought you were hanging out with some Shifting Gears buddies, didn't realize what had happened.
Also got love those free petite cliff bars, an excellent way to fill those elastic jersey pockets.
Congrats everyone on the riding, and especially to the newly registered on this epic journey. Let me know when those rider numbers come in and I'll make sure you get added to the group page.
