Hi. I'm Drew. I'd like to get in touch with some people for some bike rides. I'm new here, and I would like to tell you something about myself...ME!
I got into riding bikes when I was little, but I stopped riding bikes when I started skating. About a year ago, a friend of mine loaned me his bike...a khs flight 100. Man...I had a shaky start with this bike! As most of you already know, the flite 100 is a fixed gear. I fell on my ass a couple of times, when I first rode it. But man, now that I have been riding it--it is like no other experience I have ever had.
I am so fortunate to find this sight. I'm up for meeting you guys any time. I will check the ride calendar to see what's coming up.

Whoop dee doo if I may have one of the earlier accounts on this website. I just found the weblink before roadblock officially turned it on.
MR itself has been around long before I came into the picture. I'm technically just a noobie troll with refresh addiction.
Roadblock could tell you who's been here since the start, but that shouldn't matter. We're all ridazz.
I'm just glad I could be a part of this. I hope to see it continue to change and grow for the better. There's always going to be difficulties though. Ride on!

I was kind of curious about the growth of MR since the web site began, so I poked around and made a graph ------>
That's just plotting user ID number vs time. Since the vast majority of user accounts seem to be garbage (maybe spambot accounts that were never activated?) this is probably a totally uninformative little exercise. But I did it, so now you get to see the results.

Yeah, I was going through the "local resources" links over at c.i.c.l.e. ( http://www.cicle.org/enter/la_resources.html ) last nite and revisited Bitchenspin, a blog I used to read back then, brought back a lot of memories about that time only what, three, four years ago? Seemed like a lot of people were just getting off the ground around the same time.

Essentially a combination of myself referring to a ride organizers

yup there was an 04. at the time Feb 04, I got an email from Skull to come out and ride! the website didnt appear till summer of 06....
corey leet used to be known as "the mammas and pappas" back when there were only a few ridazz throwing rides.... everyone is on the verge of becoming corey leete you just gotta jump in and organize a ride.

I just manually entered in the URLs for a bunch of profile pages with a sampling of userId numbers from 1 to 15000 and looked at the join dates for each.
Like I said, though, the numbers probably don't mean much. A ton of the IDs don't have any user name associated with them, and they just say "Member since: 11.30.99." Is that due to spambots that failed to set up accounts, or does the website software skip numbers when assigning IDs to people?
Anyway, now that I'm sitting around being all bored in Idaho, maybe I'll try to make graphs for number of threads or comments or ride posts. Maybe.

That's weird. Yeah spam bots were attacking in droves for a while but they couldn't verify their accounts. I purged the system of unverified accounts at some point and Ben Hardy coded the captcha to keep em out. It was a ton of spambots that's for sure. Shit sucked.

This is unbelievably nerdy, but I couldn't resist.
Kid of like the previous graph, this one is just based on a sampling of ride posts since the start of the website. Unlike the previous graph, the numbers here are actually meaningful, since I doubt spambots were trying to post any rides.
This isn't showing the number of rides posted for a specific day. It's showing the
average number of rides per day during a given period.
Look at that growth. It just doesn't stop. Crazy.

My name is Jason Nealey , brother of Mark Nealey aka Glorider , just wanted to say again what a great community you all have in the midnight ridazz .
I was going back over some of the pics from the glow ride and remembering my brother , anyway long story short Marks wife shipped his trike to Seattle where we had the frame repaired and then we reassembled the Catrike and I have had a chance to ride it around Greenlake here in Washington , the only thing I’ve ever seen that compares is Venice Beach in Cali .
Remember to be good to your fellow man Midnight Ridazz and live each day to its fullest .
Thanks again for the memorial service back in 07 it really meant a lot to the whole family , Glorider is remembered without pain or much grief his much loved trike is being ridden and life goes on.
Have a great ride this coming weekend .
I hope to at some point come down and ride with the ridazz and party a bit with you guys .
