hey everyone...
so we're shooting the big bicycle "chase" scene for ONE NIGHT KICKSTAND on Sunday night, and I'm going to need a little help.
1. "Camera Bike" rider - We have a guy with a Steadicam rig on the back of a bike trailer, and I need a strong rider to pull him for a few scenes. The rider will be on the bike the whole ride, but they won't have to pull the cameraman the whole time.
2. Spoke Card Person - I have the spoke cards designed. Is there anybody out there who can help me laminate? I can pay for supplies.
email me at evolutionofthedog at gmail dot com if you can help out!

This doesn't fulfill any of your current needs, but I figured I would ask if you need any help with the title design.
If you happen to still be in need of a slick opening title sequence and/or end credit sequence (with good typography and motion graphics), I can definitely offer my design services. I do that stuff on the daily at work, so I'd be more than happy to help :)

good to know! it's going to be awhile before i get around to that though. after this sunday is one more day of principle live-action photography, then one day of "2nd-unit" effect and pickups, then i'm shooting miniatures and puppets until the end of summer.
stay tuned!

Hey CUTTER
I'm laminating about 50 spoke cards tonight (or thursday) night. If you drop off your goods at Bikerowave, I can add them to my queue.

got some help with spoke cards, although i'm still slammed enough that even those may not be happening. producing a movie on your own is harder than i thought!
i still need a STRONG RIDER to help me pull the camera bike!
c'mon people, this is gonna be awesome, i swear!

Isn't it for a really freaking awesome, professional-level film that's gonna make the short film circuit all over the place, with a charming-ass story, featuring a pretty rad vintage Sears bike, which I covet, and a shiny blue Electra cruiser alternately ridden by the fascinating Enci Box and the scintillating Katie O'Shea?
Isn't this the link to the ride?

Come on, pals! It's a short ride, at only 6 miles -- you can do this! And if that's too short for you, we'll just ride it again.
But the important part is the free beer. Isn't it? I think so.

eddy,
boogalooshrimp offered to laminate for me on saturday, but i've been so slammed with prep that i might not have time to get all the art assets out to santa monica.
what i really need is a strong rider to help with the camera bike!

i'm at the point where i'm desperate enough to PAY someone to come out and ride for six miles. they won't even be pulling the camera operator the whole way.
anyone??
