More u-lock beat down videos please.....I'm not encouraging people to do this...only as a last resort if you have to....maybe not I think is a bit to harsh.....well only if you are minding your business and some bear dick eating douche bag tries to steal your bike...use as necessary....with caution....I prefer the pepper power bear spray that deploys a high volume powerful blast of highly concentrated pepper spray in a dense fog that shots as far as 35 feet option....
All this talk about u-lock beat down...How about chain whipping..I mean it gives you a reach advantage....plus the whipping might set someone straight....just a thought disregard....
Sometimes a cyclist can we as dangerous as an angry driver, be careful everybody. The cyclist seems to be trying to walk away though, always be careful when confronting someone.
Cyclist are know to be extremely elusive creatures when it comes to a confrontation...They are know to ride on the sidewalk, ride against traffic, don't stop on red or stop signs...
Harsh...drunken idiots....I drink/smoke when there is a party ride....I wouldn't call CYCLIST drunken idiots...There is a border line between acting and being an idiot...
You weren't there? So you didn't see the part where they were holding hands? Bob said to his friend Tim, "Tim, I'm cheating on you."

That's when Bob put his bike down, in the intersection, and walked up to Tim. Tim was clearly upset, so upset he knocked off Bob's helmet. "You hurt me", said Tim.
Bob was, like, "You're just jealous".
Tim comes back with, "WHO IS HE?!"
Bob then replied, slowly at first. The words made his lips shiver and he stuttered with, "its...your brother". That's when the fight started.
"i saw this guy who appeared to be a bike messenger (maybe not) and an older asian guy (for sure he was an older asian guy) getting into a fight because they ran into each other at the intersection. the older guy could have walked away but WOULDN'T LEAVE THE BIKE DUDE ALONE, the bike guy even said 'stop following me man', then the bike dude totally let him have it, POW! KRYPTONITE LOCK TO THE FACE LIKE 3 OR 4 TIMES!"
By doing a second visual...I think that the short guy saw his height deficit as a win or lose factor...His last resort was the u-lock...Therefore the taller guy had no option but to run away, come back, and threaten to take a picture and call the police...Or...The tall guy called the short guy a girl for riding a beach cruiser....No offense to those who ride a beach cruiser....
@Dropkick_bruce, what do you mean by glorified? But yes, there are a bunch of people out there using mallets I've made. What does this have to do with that video? And which video does it not have to do with?

I do carry somwthing when I ride, but not for a bum/crazy person or motorist or other cyclist but in case a bear or mountain lion trys to attack and eat me with my meattie He-Man thighs!
