CUBCAMP - The Races

4 weeks of racing, back, to back, to back, to back. You think you’re strong enough, tough enough, F.U.N. enough? Well maybe you should just give this little shindig a try... just remember that cubleaders always eat first... and give up last..
All races meet at the Bikerowave (
www.bikerowave.org) in Santa Monica, CA at 8.45pm to ride out to the race location. Races start promptly between 10 and 10.30pm

Due to the fact that we don't actually have to "ride" to the race location (ie it's *at* Bikerowave) the races will start at 9.30 not 10.30, providing that there is adequate time for the brackets and etc to be setup....

Yeah!? I'm going to a dinner party just down the street on 10th and Olympic so I may try to meet up with everyone. I can't race very fast but I'd like to try the course for fun

week 4 race? i thought it was week 3? and in the description you say second week.. not that it really matters since the fastest people in LA always show up.

HA! CubCamp Can Has Confuses!
This is the third week of racing, but the 4th week in this cycle of cubcamp (week 1 was a friends of the friendless ride, and as such no racing...) Got it? gooD!
The time trial will go as follows.
Westchester pkwy, north end of LAX.. BAM! Couple laps.. BAM! How fast are you? BAM!

oooooooh sh111111t, Westchester Pkwy... The aero bars are definitely called for. E-rock / Gary7, you are not ready for my 53/16 ratio, I hope you suckas can keep up about 28 or 29 mph on flats!
