I'm getting more and more sick of the motherfuckers every god damned day.
BOYCOTT the evil monopolistic fuckers! I'd like to plan a protest day at their headquarters in coordination with a "do not buy tickets from ti cketmaster" day. Any interest?????
Send me samples of your most outrageous
Ticketmaster and Ticketweb fees here.
Sign the petition to have Ticketmaster disclose their fees at the beginning of the transaction rather than the end. Thanks for starting that Randy.
Use the links on my ticketmaster sucks page to write your congressperson, senators or the emperor of the universe!!!
FUCK TICKETMASTER AND TICKETWEB

"After spending $124 in admission and surcharges for myself and three friends and driving three hours in a noreaster to ensure that I was present, I was delighted to find that I had not been granted admission to a ballroom, but had been arbitrarily designated tickets to the Mezzanine (balcony) section. Contrary to the information given to me by the Ticketmaster sales agent, there were actually two different types of tickets for this event, and it was deemed that my friends and I should sit in balcony seats and watch the Chemical Bros. push buttons from afar."
HAHAHAHAHAHAHahahahahaha, a similar thing happened to me last year at the Stooges show at the Wiltern. Ticketbastard said they were floor tickets which were good for the pit if you arrived early enough, but they were lying bastards. The pit tickets were a separate ticket sold elsewhere or given away by 103.1, they were never for sale on Ticketmaster. I wouldn't have bought the Ticketmaster tickets if I had known that, I would have found some fucking pit tickets elsewhere. FUCKERS!!!

Even small venues use Ticketweb, sometimes I like to have tix in hand if I think the club will be overbooked, and as most of you know Ticketmaster owns Ticketweb. BECAUSE THEY'RE EVIL OVERLORDS OF THE UNKNOWN UNIVERSE!!!
The CD rocks, BTW, I listened to it a bunch out in the desert last weekend while I cleaned up my mess with the Feds. My beef with the Feds is pretty much over now so BRING ON THE EVIL EMPIRE!

I hate TM so, so much.
If I were in a band, I would boycott playing at any venue that deals with those monopolistic assholes.

Like Pearl Jam did in the 90's... they canceled sooooo many shows because of this very reason.
Fuck it. I said it.... Back in the day, I liked Pearl Jam! There!

Where are the anti-trust authorities and regulators that in all other industries ensure there is competition for the greater cost benefit of the public consumer? It's not like concerts are a tiny, insignificant industry. Regulators are asleep at the wheel because there is no competition for online ticketing sales. It's god-damn monopoly.

My ex-gf absolutely loves them and I went with her to the Forum and the Bill Graham Civic up in SF 2 or 3 years ago when Sonic Youth was opening for them. PJ absolutely kicked ass. I thought I'd like Sonic Youth better but they were boring as hell. The only things that sucked about those two shows were Tim Robbins being a lame folkie at the Forum in the middle of PJ's set, and some lameass bros in the pit up in SF. Props to PJ for having two almost entirely different set lists between those two shows.

I got a letter from Feinstein saying they've been receiving lots of complaints and to stay tuned. Don't know if her office was just being nice or if there really is renewed interest in doing something about their monopoly.
