overreacting to negative posts

I am guilty of it. It makes us look bad. I am sorry.
I (we?) need to remember that when someone has a negative experience, they aren't looking to calmly lodge their grievance, they mostly just want to vent their frustration/anger.
And everyone sounds like twice as much of an asshole on the internet. Myself included.

Don't feel too bad, royal. I think that part of the problem is never being able to tell when the person you're dealing with is going to blow up and start flinging turds all over the room.
There are some people who simply have no idea how to communicate online. When someone's acting like a jackass, the best thing to do is probably to strip out all the offensive shit when reading their post, and reply to whatever substance there is.
Or just ignore them. There's always that.

Maybe you should just remember that when you sound like a tard on teh interwebz, the person on the other end is real. You may or may not see them on the street. They may or may not kick your ass. They may or may not posses the Golden Bow of Quel'Thalas with has a damage of 204 - 380 (97.3 damage per second), +18 Agility and increases attack power by 34. Just sayin'.
Also, it's only a series of t00bz.

yup.
i too, apologize for over-reacting.
i have been singled out before, smeared before, and in fact, Knittens has shown me before and is still currently showing that he is willing to actually hurt someone. This past week I was deeply hurt and disappointed. But for reasons that run a bit deeper than an internet forum can address.
I know Knittens thrives on this sort of attention, so I will stay out of it from now on. And I will offer up some kitty treats....meow.
Not knowing the context or history of things is one of the great disadvantages of an online discussion.
I will be focusing my energies in arenas that are more rewarding.
Anytime I participate or share here, I have to be concerned about someone who cannot call me, email me, or address me to my face...whether it is a playful kitty or one of the many sweet trolls that shows up on thread after thread. Awwww....trolls!!!
I sincerely appreciate the real friendships I have formed through Midnight Ridazz. You can't win 'em all, but I wont lie....it hurts to wish for something more beautiful and to not see it happen.
I must learn patience.
