Is Spoke n' Art happening this Saturday? It's usually the second Saturday of the month, but it's not posted here, or on BikeBoom or at the Spoke n' Art site.

Oh, to clarify. the ride is rarely posted on MR. But it definitely happens. 2nd Saturday - 7PM @ Flag Pole @ Fig & York. It will end at the Oven.
I'll probably be there, and then ride to Ridge Way for the Tern of the Century Party.

I can't confirm but it's always been the 2nd Saturday of each month. . and has been consistent. Again... rarely posted but if posted.. within a couple days before the ride. A really chill... dope ride.

i want to bring a friend on a spoken art ride. it will be her first at night and she's not a fast nor overly strong rider. will she be fine here? what is approx mileage from flagpole to oven and back again?

Just sent you an email, but these are perfect for beginners. Not many miles and lots of stops at the galleries.

Yeah... really chill w/ a lot of stops. There might me one uphill because the area is a little hilly but once you're over that hump... it's all good from there. This is a really good ride for a beginner. It all stays in Eagle Rock/Highland Park/Glassel Park area so it's perfect for a beginner.
My only advise is that it will start at the flagpole on York and Fig and will end up finishing at the Bike Oven. That's maybe 2 miles from the start but it's a slight uphill to get back to the flagpole. I'd get there early... park at the Oven and bike up Fig to the start and just start from there so when you come back you can just leave from the Oven and not worry about the way back cause it does kinda suck to go back to the start after you've been hanging out and having a good time at the Oven.
