I was just thinking of how cool it would be to have an email adress @midnightridazz.com. if its set up as a forwarding address only it would use minimal server resources, qnd it would be a great incentive for people to donate to the site.

man, nothing says "im a cyclist in la" like having an @midnightridazz.com email suffix. shouldnt you be out brown nosing the cops instead of worrying about superficial bullshit like this? or is image everything to you. im assuming the latter.

i don't know. i guess what i really meant by this was that "premium memberships" would be a cool way to get people to donate to the site. so if i were to donate $5 a month, (or a lower yearly rate) i'd get unlimited photo posting and if people wanted to email me, they could send an email to tortuga_veloce@midnightridazz.com.

doing a premium membership with unlimited photo uploading makes it unfair and in the long run not cost effective for roadblock. unlimited photo uploading which eats away at space/bandwidth, which may balance out the donations and leave him in the same spot. i do get the idea behind having a reward to have after donating but then these people are not maintaining. having a photo as a major contributor on the site or what he was doing with giving certain things away when money was donated, are cheaper for him. those email address need to stay with the people working/owner of the site.
Having that address on a business card would be pretty cool.

i see where you're coming from, but wouldn't it be nice to offer those email addresses to the WHOLE COMMUNITY, as opposed to the site administrators? think about it, if you're donating, aren't you already contributing to the site?
plus, having it on a business card would make it just that much more visible.
