it is actually drizzling here in Long Beach right now, I'll be at the start at 0800 am, heavy rain cancels ride.

fuck man i hate this, i'm too tired to go to this ride and too late...
i just woke up an hour ago....... i wish i could of had gone 90 miles, man i need those miles if i want to get 10,000 by the end of this month........ well enjoy the ride everybody!!!!

The part I did was fun. So glad I was able to make it, despite waking up so late (well, later than I wanted; 6:30 hardly qualifies as "late"). Anyway, yeah, FUN.
Did you guys stop at the ren fair on the way back down?

truly awesome ride, only one flat, one bike vs. pedestrian crash (don't worry the bike is OK) and tons of awesome fun. Thanks Kat for hookin it up. <3

Other notable events during the ride:
A mother on a beach cruiser with her daughter in tow on a tag-along crashed when she caught the curb at the sidewalk ramp in Venice. Ridazz stopped and helped. One Rida had antibiotic spray for their scrapes.
A gray-haired driver yelled at us while at a stop light on Washington in MDR. "Single file! You're supposed to ride in a single file," he shouted. We shouted back. When the light changed to green, he drove on and we rode on.
I clipped a slow-moving cyclist while on the beach bike path. He decided to make a U-turn the second I was about to pass on his left. "I'm sorry my friend," he said. His front tire left marks on my shin. I forgave him after about 8 hours. I usually say "Passing on your left," but not this time. He first moved to the right and then BAM.
