A DRINK WITH BUKOWSKI

WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK ABOUT DOING A RIDE TO BUKOWSKIS
RESTING PLACE?
IT'S A STRAIGHT SHOT FROM WESTERN ALL THE WAY TO:
Green Hills Memorial Park, Rancho Palos Verdes
THERE WE CAN SHARE SOME DRINKS WITH THE DIRTY OLD MAN WHO
PROVES LIFE IN OBSCURITY CAN BE QUITE DECADENT WITH THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF DRINK AND THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF PEOPLE.
MAYBE SOME OF US CAN RECITE HIS POETRY OR EXCERPTS OF HIS NOVELS.
WERE NOWHERE NEAR HIS BIRTH OR DEATH DATE, BUT HELL, DO WE REALLY NEED SOME SOLID REASON TO PAY HOMAGE TO SUCH A MAN?
HELL, HE'D PREFER WE DO IT SOONER THAN WAIT ALMOST A YEAR.
WE WOULDNT WANT THE DRINKS TO GET WARM NOW WOULD WE?
SUGGESTIONS?
WE CAN BRING BEER, CHEAP WINE, AND WHISKEY FOR HIM AND OTHERS.
WHADDAYA SAY?

there will be places where he used to live, we'll be bumping classical music in his honor, there will be readings, and a visit to his grave.

This is where beat writer Charles Bukowski (not verified) downed more than a few. Earlier, it was also a magnet for swashbuckling sailors and ladies of the night.

No matter who organizes this or where it goes, just make sure Tomatoes is invited. He's our very own modern-day bike-riding Bukowski. He embodies everything Bukowski (but I don't know if he knows anything about Bukowski).

so.....Lemmie see...the route depends on what people wanna do...ya see, the initial ride (straight shot to his resting plot)is about 25 miles from hollywood/western. Im aware people wanna stop at his own proclaimed
establishments such as work place...bars.etc..but it will prolong the ride VERY MUCH.
Either we go straight to the grave(heh) 25 mi.
or we go to the spots he loved...
Now, if we do the grave site and come back....thats like 50 give/take
miles....endurance? patience? day ride to night?
hell. lemmie know kay? kay.
hmmmmmmm. I wanna do this but I also dont want drop outs..
Feel me?
feed me.
