Leonors Vegetarian Mexican food- GOOD A$$ FOOD for the vegatarian and the non-vegatarian. They have great pizza, broccoli burritos, and a great chicken salad ( which is the #1 on the menu). Big portions. on moorpark.

thank god for braggs, if you haven't had it you are missin' out HARD.
Braggs: A tamari/soy sauce healthy alternative that is not heated, fermented or salted. The process converts soybeans into a liquid vegetable protein. Commonly used in vegan cooking.

there is this spot called Clay Oven on ventura off cedros (1 block from van nuys) its not super expensive but its not cheap, one thing is sure that its amazing.
ben dangel06.28.08 - 11:52 am

wait wait wait
i think we should go to SUSHI MAC, really really cheap sushi on ventura a few blocks past van nuys. I'm sure most of you have been there, conveyer belt menu, blasting music, bar style seating.
ben dangel06.28.08 - 11:55 am

Oh Clay Oven is INDIAN food also, Chicken Tiki malsala (substitute tofu instead for all you cuties) and samosas.BOMB

I don't know the valley at all really, so I will go wherever you take me. But someday you all should take the red line down to MY hood and we can go to India Sweets & Spices. Delicious AND cheap. For realz.

And, oh, I'm not talking about the one in Culver City either (which is actually far away from my hood). There is one up on Los Feliz Blvd. too.

Lee, I'll just send it to you through the internets. Much easier than physical reality. That way we can focus this evening on what counts: gettin' foodz and ridin' bikes.

Good times.
Pictures forthcoming.
(Maybe a later start next time?) (6/6:30?) (Since apparently 5:30 is before some people wake up.)

Glad I found you gais! Or should I say girls! I must say on rides large and small, the Valley boasts the lowest sausage fest ratio

@RBI
No hate, just teasing. 5:30 seems a bit early for the ride to me too.
@Harry
I thought the food at Leonor's was great. And Studio Yogurt serves ridiculously huge portions.
The ride itself was a little funny. No sprinkler crashes or anything, but on the way back first we got into an altercation with an angry minivan and then we got a tiny bit hijacked by Tallcans. But that makes it all sound much more dramatic than it was. Overall: very chill.

liz and i were thinking about riding down to little tokyo to get some delish ramen at either daikokuya or mr ramen. they are right next to one another, but the wait for daikokuya can be a little on the long side. there are vegetarian options, but no vegan options (to my knowledge).
would you guys be into bicychilling with us? we can leave whenever.
ruinedbyidiots07.6.08 - 1:19 am

I'd be into some Bicychilling, if I'm back in time. Little Tokyo would certainly be easier for me than the Valley. All signs point to maybe.

ramen is less than five blocks away from union station if you feel like not riding back.

Look at you chillazz! What's the haps?!
I've got a few friends in town, so I won't be able to chill tonight but I will post it up in the rides section.
Have fun!

@Tinycities
Looks like I lied to you last night: didn't realize the Raccoons ride started so early (meets at 8), so it doesn't look like I'll be able to Bicychill tomorrow after all.
And next week is the Bicycle Film Festival, so it is uncertain whether I'll be Bicychillin' then either. But soon, SOON, I tells ya. We'll make it happen.
(Nonetheless, there may be other chillaz tomorrow..........??? If you build it, they will come.)
