Looking at those numbers, if our bodies had the fuel-efficiency of a '73 Chevy Blazer, we'd be loosing all sorts of weight.
I really need to start getting refocused, I seemed to have sort of lost my touch after the '07 rollover.
I remember a few, short years ago where I was putting in at least 10-30 miles of riding/day, along with going to the gym and putting in 1hr-1.5hr of additional cardio along with 20-40min worth of muscle workouts, 4-5 days/week.
It's been at least, 10 months since I was pulling that intensity, I need to rekindle the flame.

Of course this is with my average cruising speed of 15 mph in still wind and no load.
Couple a 20-30lb load in the bag and 5-20mph headwind, you would think that would all change.

you also can't forget your BMR which burns calories while you're alive! so the longer you sit on the bike moving, the more calories you'll need
