POWDERCOAT, Anyone?

As some of you know, I drop by Olympic Powder Coating weekly to drop off and pick up frames for people/bikeshops. Just wanted to see if anyone needs me to drop off a frame for them. I am in LA twice a week and pick stuff up for a couple of shops.
As a big advocate for supporting local bike shops (LBS), I am trying to target do it yourselfers, who want to strip and rebuild their bikes themselves. The cost is whatever Olympic will charge you if you go there yourself. The turn around time is around 2 weeks, some colors might even be sooner.
Alternately, you can also visit Orange 20 or Echo Park Cycles? as they have a powdercoating service.

The cost varies by color but starts around $69 for stock colors and goes from there. Around $24 for a chemical strip if the old paint is thick, a little cheaper for bead blasting. And a 4% waste disposal surcharge. But typically around 100 to 120 for an old bike.
