AFTER THINKING ABOUT LIFE I HAVE COME TO REALIZE THAT IT SURE WOULD BE NICE IF I COULD ERASE ALL MY PROBLEMS.
IF I ONLY HAD A DIRECT LINE TO 'GOD' SO THAT I COULD ASK HIM TO DELETE A THREAD.
ONE THING IS REALLY EVIDENT:
I NEED AND WILL SIT BACK, AND WAIT FOR THE NEXT DRAMA TO REAR IT'S UGLY HEAD.
ALSO I NEED TO MAKE SURE IT'S NOT ME THAT IS THE BLUNT OF EVERYBODY'S ANGER.
I THINK IT WOULD BE BETTER IF EVERYBODY WAS PERFECT.
WE ARE NOT PERFECT, AND LIKE SOME GEARS, WE DONT ALWAYS FIT TOGETHER, BUT I THINK THAT IF WE TRY NOT TO PISS OFF OTHER RIDAS, THINGS WOULD BE BETTER.
IF I AM GUILTY OF THIS, THEN I APOLOGIZE.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT:
TREAT PEOPLE THE WAY YOU WANT TO BE TREATED.
MY GRAND PA ALWAYS TOLD ME THIS, I TRY TO BE COOL, BUT LETS FACE THE TRUTH, SOME RIDAS ARE COOL, AND OTHERS ARE...WELL YOU KNOW.
I WOULD LIKE TO ASK THAT WE ALL .......
SHIT, NOBODY LISTENS TO ME.

In a way, I'm kind of glad that there's a nice, big desert to live in.
Take a nice, long, 20 mile ride outside of the city limits and then come to this place to think.....

sometimes you have to leave this city to appreciate this city.
when i go back to the east it's just not right, something is off - but sure is nice to get away. greasy food is awesome, being spoiled by the folks is just super great.. then i get on my bike and try not to die.. but there isn't any energy.. it's almost blah.. there's no chance i could accidently turn a corner and see a Rida.. the roads are not meant for this Rida.. i am visitor roaming a strange land i at one point in my life called home.
upon my return to this giant cement park of twisted roadways lined with cracks and holes and bumper to bumper traffic, i breathe in the exhaust fumes and smile, cause there's a ride somewhere with Ridas turning some corner and though this city is rough, i know we are rougher, for we play on the edges of this chaotic spectrum - we accept the challenge of life and death and take our two wheels to the streets like the badasses we are and can say, "We Bike LA" and call LA Home.
I say try and take some time away, even if it's going into the Los Angeles Forest for a weekend..

Kind of why I'm looking forward to returning to OTR this December.
Nothing like parking your truck off the US-54 at a truck-stop in Kansas, getting a bite to eat at the diner, then pulling out the folder and going for a spin past the endless miles of corn-field to make you miss the urbanization that is LA.
There was this hot waitress there though, a rare sight for a dive like that!!!

Thats right Eddie. Good words. Be nice to those you love and nicer to those you find offensive. good will breeds more good will. We preach pacifism all day long in respect to cars and those that try to disrupt our fun with silly laws but when it comes to other riders we seperate into silly factions and cliques and post hateful threads disguised as a joke.
Back on your bikes people. Ride it out.
