Hi ya'll,

I was wondering if anyone knew about a affordable lock out/rehearsal space for my band for the month of September and if we like it, the following months.

Just throwing it out on peoples radar.

Our first show is October 4th at the Bordello downtown (Club Satisfaction) and we want our show to be as dialed in as possible.

Check this thread. I posted a place or two and others might have too. Not sure about long term rentals but typically, the hourly for most rehearsal places seem to be 15/hr.

Downtown rehearsal's the cheapest for lockouts. Bands are always looking to share space to cut their costs...peep this:

i've met the dude with the eye patch...he played in duane peters' band the Hunns.

there's a building downtown that i know of....all i can tell you is that the band THE KNIVES http://www.myspace.com/theknives used to rehearse there....it's on central or alameda. If you can somehow email the Knives and ask them about their old rehearsal spot, it may be what you're looking for....there's a small gas station/car detail/car wash spot across the street from the building i'm thinking of.

Seconded on West LA Studios - I've been rehearsing there with different bands for probably four years now. Cool people, decent place, etc.
