...THE POLICE ARE NOT YOUR FRIENDS, SURE IF SOMEBODY ROBS YOU, OR KILLS SOMEBODY, SURE THEY ARE GOING TO DO THERE JOBS, BUT FACE IT, DID YOU GO TO THAT COPS WEDDING? WERE YOU EVEN INVITED?

I AVOID TICKETS, BECAUSE I STOP AT RED LIGHTS (IF THE COPS ARE AROUND) , AND I SURE AS HELL DONT DO SHIT AROUND THEM, EVEN IF IM NOT DOING ANYTHING ILIGALL, THEY STILL GOING EPUT THAT FUCKING LIGHT IN MY FACE AS IM HEADING IN THE OPPOSITE LAN HEADING TOWARDS THEM.

WHY DO THEY DO THIS TO US? BE CAUSE THEY CARE ABOUT US GETTING RUNNED OVER BY A CAR, YA , SURE, RIGHT..

Hey, keep up the stealth thing on the rides and the local heat will eventually stop being concerned with your old ass and the fact that you're actually Romanian.

If anything, it's not so much about race, but rather upper-echelon pressure to look tougher or softer for when the overall political situation calls for it.
Then it could also be the "Us vs Them" mentality.

However, when it comes to being general dicks, I will say my experiences with LAPD have been much more positive than the ones I've had with the dipsticks employed by the sheriffs department up in my neck of the woods.

If it isn't wearing a star, it's trouble!!
This is what tends to happen when you keep deputies on 6-month beat-rotations and take on the trash rejected from other departments.
