3 times in the past month a coyote has followed me down the street walking home from work here in Burbank. I'm wondering if she's planning on eating me? Or maybe she just wants me to take her home?

I'm convinced they have a thing for Canadian women. It's probably all the maple syrup in our blood.

Enough with the coyotes already!!
There are large packs of them up here that roam all over my stepdads yard and usually take off when the floodlights are hit.
There's an M1 Garand and an old pump-Daisy pellet gun in the house, but usually a high pressure garden hose or a broom are all you need if they don't budge.
But, yeah, there are those times when they'll get a little brazen and have a cute little Canadian folk singer for dinner(perhaps after my mean streak is done here in the states, I'll cross over the border for different cuisine), in that case, wrong place, wrong time, no stick, no spray, not even a .22!!!

oh man, when I was in Vancouver, I had a maple donut with maple filling....holy moly that was GOOOOD

and speaking of maple...I brought back boxes of maple leaf cookies, because they didn't have them down here....but Trader Joe's started carrying them within a month of coming back from Vancouver... unfortunately, the ones they have only have cream filling and not maple cream filling...darnit...

Those things are a little intense. I am a big fan of the Tim Hortons maple glazed donut though... mmm...
