I would love to get this going. I guess no one can respond to a calendar post so I don't know if there is any interest or not. I'm hoping to team up with someone who might know Long Beach enough to help me route the ride and then we can rally a bunch of people for a ride and then an art show based on the Cramps front man.

PUNK ROCK ART RIDE - Long Beach

I promise I've got nothing to do with this art show, I just thought it sounded cool and it would be fun to ride, hit up the art show, and then ride some more!

Details about the show:
Lux - an art tribute to Lux Interior (for those of you who are unsure - he was the frontman of the Cramps)
It's at Expo Art Center, 4321 Atlantic Ave in Long Beach.
It's from 7 pm-11pm

I was thinking if someone is more familiar with the area, maybe we can team up - you be road captain and guide the ride? I'll rally the troops?

Meet up at 7pm, ride around, hit up the art show, then ride afterwards? Bring lights as it will be getting dark.

Total punk rock night, celebrate The Cramps and bicycles?

A lot of my bike friends are out town Sat.

If it's a good idea, people will come. Problem is Facebook has killed visitors to this website.

And its usually good to post and hype stuff way in advance. Not always the case with Westside events. but they rely on failbook as well.

I respect you posting up something cool right off the start. I hope to meet you.

Thanks. Yeah, I assume people are all up on the Facebook. I unfortunately don't have a Facebook account, and even if I did I don't have a bunch of CA friends yet to spread the word. If anyone gets in touch, I'd love to spread the word. I guess I should start by going to someone else's ride, but I want to check out that art show too!
