I know you know this, but the less this site is used, the less useful it becomes...
Hate to see it being abandoned, left to the dicks.

The best strategy for something large seems to be to hit up all the outlets: here, FB, the twitters, etc.. Just want to make sure this place still makes the list!
Keep fightin' the good fight!
(And thanks for the invite, but not going to make it to Detroit. Blew my vacation budget on Boston>NY a few weeks back.)

I'm still down to help lead some Westsiders out to the DTLA meeting point. Given the length of the ride and it being intended to be chill, I was thinking maybe riding entire distance from Westside might be a bit much for some.
So I was thinking maybe ride from the coast to the Culver City Expo station and hop on train there if the group is small enough that isn't unmanageable. Or if we do ride out entire way, I was thinking Expo corridor is one of the most chill routes to DTLA now anyways, so if riding entire way, might be a good way to go and if anyone felt like hopping for a short cut, could jump on the train along any point.

nice! I was thinking, instead of trying to ride to Long Beach, we just have legs that roll from all corners to downtown where we can have a Bike Town Beta of sorts....

ok I'm starting to get calls and emails from the media... they want to know what we are doing.... we need to plan and post routes.
should this thing end in DTLA or long beach?
who's got the pasadena route?
canoga park?
west side?
long beach?

I was kind of looking forward to some river path riding personally, but it is some serious miles for a chill ride to make it all the way down to LBC, but also I think many people realize they can go further than thought in a group, and efficiency of no stop and go.

I'll be setting up a feeder ride coming from Southeast LA (Huntington Park, South Gate, Maywood area)
If the ride were heading to Long Beach would it be better to wait for you guys to swing around since we are on the way or go to DTLA and then to Long Beach?

I added Westside feeder connection route to the map link you gave me. Planned it similar to a Pier Pressure route and then take creek path to Expo line and hop that into DTLA.
