BIKE ANGELES

two years ago, after spending an amazing week at Pedalpalooza in Portland, i was inspired to create Bike Angeles. In 2010 (when i moved east) Paul mad it happen. and in 2011, Troy Herrera made it happen and i got to experience it with a BANG! it was awesome!
Bike Angeles is what we do in a year of LA Bike Culture and present it in a week. All city. Any day. Any ride. Any den dinners. Parties.... yada yada.
it would kick off with the OG Midnight Ridazz second Friday ride and end with CRANKMAS..... however, that time of the year has become too cramped with other lovely onsgoings, so i thought and brought it up at the Bike Summit Meeting a few weeks ago, we move it to the beginning of the summer and start of 2012's summer with Bike Angeles!
but here's the catch - we are going to make this Bike Angeles so amazing, so full of awesomness F.U.N. and if we all tap into our resources and invite every cyclist we know from all over the country, put them up, find cheap ways for them to get out here, introduce them to our way of surviving and loving our lives - we WILL inspire them to want to do the same in their city next year. and the year after that, another city and teh year after that, another city.
So this isn't all one person, thsi is a collective group effort calling on all cyclists of LA Bike Culture and friends from other cities that we have met along the way.
We will be having a meeting soon. the website will go up soon. things will start to kick off soon. i will keep you updated, until then, please get the ideas rolling. this is going to be so much fun and the people we are going to meet and yeahhhhh....

ART WORK for Bike Angeles!!!!!!!
DEADLINE is Monday, February 6. That week we will do a vote and on Friday reveal the Artwork/Logo that will be used for this year's Bike Angeles.
(hard dates and info will be discussed, this does not hav...e to be added in the artwork)
Tight deadline because Adam Junod has kindly offered to give a full one page spread for Bike Angeles when his creative magazine, "Pregnant Minds" (http://www.facebook.com/pregnantminds?sk=info) goes INTERNATIONAL in March!!!!! - yea, kinda really fucking awesome, huh?!
Your design will also be used on the website and all other Bike Angeles 2012 event stuffs!!!!!
