1AM Night Owl Ride

New thread for a new ride.Come and join us at 1AM...thats right meet at 12am ride at 1AM this ride is a chill/medium pace. 20 miles for now so we can sleep.lol
everyone is invited.Spoke cards will be available at the end of the ride for free or you can buy one.Im trying to bring a small music system and bump some reggae jams or some punk..or u can make a music request right here.I love all music in general.Any questions or thoughts feel free to reach me at john555doe@gmail,com thanks

NO rider left behind policy enforced..i will inform everyone of the stops and destinations ahead of time.Also the route will be posted b4 each ride.If u get dropped for whatever reason or a flat.call me.I will have 2 mayb 3 extra tubes,,but try and bring your own PLZ!!

yeah it was at Denny's. I started the Insomniac Ride back in June because I got off work at 1am every night and still wanted to ride but had to end it though after only a few times because I was in an accident while riding my bike and couldn't ride until recently. I still have a ton of spoke cards I made that I never got to give out.

well the one i plan to stop by sells beer until 2am mobil gas station on olympic and western.Its a bit after mile 8...whicj we have an hr to get there..and im sure it wont take us more than 40minutes to get there.

Can't wait for this ride. I LOVE early AM riding. In spite of being brand new here, I would like to make a suggestion. You avoid confusion about which day the meet happens by saying something like: Ride meets at 11:59PM on the first Tuesday of each month and leaves at 1:00AM on Wednesday.
My GF and I are looking forward to this and I suspect that we will become regulars on this ride.

This event technically begins on Wednesday morning at 12:00AM.
Setting the meeting time for 11:59PM instead of 12:00AM or "midnight" avoids confusion. While most of us know that this is a Tuesday Night-Wednesday Morning ride, you can be sure that there will be some who are confused and might show up on Tuesday morning at 12:00AM.

i sometimes drive and see what would be a kool route, after that i ride it. to see if its kool and safe .So im trying my best so it can be a fun kool route.I once took the hill coming down la cienega and sunset..all the way down to santa monica.I was like nope thats to dangerous.i mean that hill is insane.

so the route got changed due to some light rain, and somehow it turned out to be more of after hrs party ride because of the rain.Next one we will ride more..lol promise.None the less I had fun.Coming up La brea to hollywood looked like a ghost town,no cars no people,Thanks to all 22 that made it,and a special thanks to the 12 lasted until the end you know who you are.Thanks.Hope you liked the spokecards.see you all next time.

also im thinking of stealing the idea of levels for the ride.
the following:
Level 1= Party mode no ore than 15 miles total
Level 2= Medium pace, 20 to 25 miles no more.
Level 3= Still Medium/sometimes smash, 30 40 miles,
Level 4= Medium Pace 50 miles or more..most likely a holiday ride that lands on a tuesday or thursday.May include camping out or something like that.
Level 5= Go Join Wolpack hustle on mondays..they are fast..
so what do you guys think..give feedback,,lpeace

So what happens to miles between 15-20?
Level 2 could be 15-25 (an additional 10 on top of the original idea)
and you could add those increments to the other levels as well. I dunno, it's your ride... just a suggestion. I'll see if I can make it out to the next one.

Thanks to all that made it out last night.We stuck to the route this time lol ...and we ran into our beloved MoM ridaz and some even finished with us.Different crowd this time too.We had 4 people that had never been on a ride before,another rida told me it was his second ride after the glow ride.Props to the 2 ridaz in mtn bikes.

today MOfos! the plan is ride to crank mob park which will be around the 10th mile.Chill for a "water" break for 40minutes or so then ride the next 10miles back to hollywood.

That was indeed a killer ride last night or should I say this morning. That downhill run was fun and fast when we made a left from Sunset Blvd... Good meeting up with kool peepz to ride and chill with. Just glad the mishaps didn't turn out for the worst at CM park. Hey Treefitty, that was an awesome water show you put on for us last night. lol ;).

No worries Hue. Just glad peepz where there to chill with treefitty till his recovery. The five riders that left CM park including myself made it back to Night Owl homebase at 5am. Glad I made it home before the sunrise.

OK Im thinking.I want to make the next night owl ride just an hr earlier because a metro train is involed for our route.The last train leaves at 11:54PM from union station to PAsadena.What do you guys think?? thinking of meeting at 10:30PM and riding at 11:00pm if not we can do another route and stick to the time.ITs only for the next ride,after that we will go back to meet 11:30PM Ride 12:30am LEt ME KNow what you guys think /THIS IS YOUR RIDE
