That really is Daylos setup, ghetto rig awesomeness. Take your random digital camera capable of video recording and wrap the hell out of it with electrical tape (or gaffers tape) to your handle bars. Just leave a patch open for the record button and maybe some screen visible, though you might want to turn off the screen to save battery.
sadly i did not grab another camera to take pic of how i have my ghetto rigged bike cam. what gillingham said was all pretty much how it was.
set up:
the digital camera is a Nikon Coolpix L11 (it takes two double a batteries) loaded with a 2GB Pny SD Card. On the right is just a bike light Cateye HL-EL410.
Cool man. I think I'm gonna try it with my Canon A95. Is your bike light a light source for your camera, or do you have to set your camera to shoot in low-light?
