wrong. they have one at the top deck. you ask the security guards to open the fence and they let you in to the bike rack area.

Fun fact!
Teams of this era played in two principal ballparks, Washington Park and Eastern Park. They first earned the nickname âTrolley Dodgers,â later shortened to Dodgers, while at Eastern Park during the 1890s because of the difficulty fans (and players) had in reaching the ballpark due to the number of trolley lines in the area. The club also engaged in a series of mergers during this period, acquiring the New York Metropolitans in 1888 for territorial protection and star contracts, merging with the Brooklyn Wonders in 1891 as part of the Players League settlement, and merging with the Baltimore Orioles (NL) in 1900 as part of the National League's consolidation of clubs.

Fuck The Dodgers.
Even the Dodgers' enemies have better bike valet and bike parking programs on their ballparks (ATT park at SFO, Petco Park at SDG) than the Dickgers.
I, a Padres fan living in the evil empire of L.A., wouldn't set foot on Dodger Stadium. There's only one place to park your bike and it's at the Upper Plaza levels next to a smokers lounge.
Awesome plan to ride a bike there. Not. I've never set foot on the evil smurf stadium since 2005.
I don't even know if the Dodgers Trolley allows bikes, but it seems doubtful.

I walk to the stadium.
They're going to be remodelling the whole parking lot in the off season so I hope it includes bike parking. They have a lot of "trolleys" now so that's nice. The more we say stuff the more they'll listen! Maybe have a bike to the stadium day en masse?

i fail to see how they "stole" manny from the red sox. it was a 3 team trade and every team came out better in the end. red sox got someone who's gonna be around for the next 5-10 years while manny is already pushing his mid 30's. you sir, obviously don't follow basebally seriously enough to make astute observations.

Dodgers didn't steal no one, they got Manny for free! Andruw Jones is barely doing anything, Jeff Kent and Nomar are hurt on the bench but we won the division, Yankees are nowhere this October, mebbe the Cubs have more in common with the Yankees

Hey Dodger Fans.
This is your Bike Dream in 15 years at Dickger Stadium.
Signed,
lonely Pads fan in Evil Empire.
p.s. I parked my bike there on the last game at Petco last Sunday. It was a fight for dignity between two last place teams. We lost to the Pirates on Fan Appreciation day that had nothing to give to us (c'mon, BankOne Ballpark had given me some free food and their cougar mascot souvenir, Petco park could have given us free hot dogs at least). But, I parked my bike, nicely safe and sound at Petco Park before riding on the trolley to my uncle's house at Lemon Grove for dinner. There's rumors or talks of a Bike Valet service indoors at Gaslamp in two gates. The Park Ave gate and the K street gate. The point of all this braggardly post besides the loss of dignity to a team that was in last place from the same team that can't hit for shit off of Doc Ellis's no hitter on LSD, is that Petco park is better than Dickger Stadium and those Dickgers fans and whoever works at Dickger Stadium. *ppffttt*

I walked to the stadium via Gold Line Chinatown stop and Downtown exit once. I hated it.
I was looking at the "
New Dodger Stadium" and nowhere do I see any bike parking lots. I mean I hope they have room to make a bike valet parking service, but knowing it's Dodger Stadium, you'll have to probrably pay to park your bike. I guess.
I think it sucks because it's nothing more than Greenwashing Chavez Ravine with "ooh, the Hollywood sign is right there" pavillions. I doubt there's any bike parking programs coming soon there.
You could ride your bikes to Dodger Stadium en masse. In fact we should have a critical mass ride to the Evil Empire... er... Dodger Stadium. It worked for my VAN GLORIOUS SAN DIEGO PADRES two years ago. The bike parking at petco park is close to the main gates (Park Ave and east K street) but there's only 22 bike parking spots built in and well only 75+ cyclists from North County had to find a way to park their bike somewhere. The Padres, embarrased, like "whoops, we thought Paul McAnulty was gonna be our superstar" embarrassed, created a temporary bike valet service the next day for all home games until they can rent a few rooms close by to have cyclists park their bikes much like the bike valet programs at San Francisco and Washington. From what I know by my homeslice team, Petco Park will have an outdoor bike valet by the Park Ave gates and an another by the K-street entrance at Tailgate Park. Both convenient to trolley stops. Go Padres.
We should have a bike group ride to Dodger Stadium next year. Who's game. I'd be down so long as I do not pay for my ticket to support the evil empire and forced to wear dodger blue.

@Noble
You are obviously trolling. So I won't take your comments or the rest of the trolls that seriously.
However, I would like to dispel the idea that Pac-Bell/AT&T and PetCo are better stadiums, or that their teams are better teams to root for, simply because they offer bike valet. That is just ridiculous.
Both of those stadiums were built within the last 10 years and benefited from proper planning that met the transportation issues that related to those cities. They were both placed in areas where there just wasn't enough space for all the necessary automobile parking so they planned ahead with their respective cities to make it easy to get to via public transportation or pedestrian walkways.
On the other hand, Dodger Stadium was built 50 years ago when gas cost around 35 cents a gallon. At that price, who wouldn't drive, really? America's love affair with the car was in full, deep and dirty swing. White flight and the suburbanization of Southern California was also under way, making the reliance on the automobile even more critical. I'm sure the last thing on the O'Malleys' minds or the City's was bike parking, but rather clearing out Chavez Ravine to make the parking lots HUGE.
Unfortunately it seems that since then, they've taken a "if it ain't broke, why fix it?" approach. Could the McCourts have followed the example of the Giants and Padres and put in some bike valet the last couple of years that we've been "hurting at the pump" ?? Sure. I only hope that the McCourts have the presence of mind to adapt accordingly to the current transportation and accessibility issues as they continue to make renovations and changes.
With that said....I've lived close enough to Dodger Stadium 95% of my life to hear the explosions of the fireworks from the backyard and I walk there from a friends house whenever I can. It's old school, and I like that.
Although I'm turned off by a lot of the ads at the stadium, at least it still looks like a baseball stadium and not like one of those new whacked out corporate theme parks. Hopefully the McCourts don't completely sell out and build one of those abominations somewhere in L.A. or change the name of the stadium to Farmer John Park or some stupid shit like that. Until that day comes....
GO N.E.L.A.!
GO DODGERS!!!

Did I ever mention verbatim nor supplant that argument for my team? especially on a cycling messaging board? I root for my team and I'm glad to do so but you're using "trolling" in it's most ambiguous form this way.
I said Fuck the Dodgers. Obviously i'm not a Dodgers fan and most of my friends in dodger blue take it in stride being a Padres fan. But did I ever supplant an argument to say my team is better because they have a bike valet. No and never. I was giving examples on how Dodger stadium can be a better service to cyclists from what the San Diego Bike Coalition did last year and they succeeded. Why can't the cycling Dodger fans use this example to work with the Dodgers front office or marketing office to make it more bike friendly for the "new dodger stadium parking lot" next year.
Take it for what you will but it is what you will, I stand firm on what I mean and I used my examples to help bike parking at Dodger stadium easier. Not trolling in a help-the-bike-lot way.

Look, man, I totally agree with you. Dodgers' management and owners need to fix a few things when it comes to stadium accessibility, especially for bicyclists. We all know it's not that hard or expensive and there are plenty of examples out there about how they can do it.
However, the first three words of your first post were "Fuck the Dodgers" I dunno about you, but that pretty much sets the tone and credibility for anything you say afterward on a thread, which by its very title, is going to be pro-Dodgers.
If you wanted to be helpful and give us a pro-bicycling message, you could have referred to the great programs they have in SF and SD and left it at that. But you didn't and instead injected all your posts with the anti-Dodgers remarks.
You gave us such gems as the "Dickgers" and even referred to the stadium as "evil smurf stadium" and "Evil Empire." Then you crystallized it oh so perfectly by saying:
The point of all this braggardly post besides the loss of dignity to a team that was in last place from the same team that can't hit for shit off of Doc Ellis's no hitter on LSD, is that Petco park is better than Dickger Stadium and those Dickgers fans and whoever works at Dickger Stadium. *ppffttt*
