RIDE-INFO:
Mostly flat. There are no "hills," - not even a "bump." This is the "LA Basin".... as in, you wake up one day, look in any direction and it's all flat. It looks the same. It's like, oh, Kansas. Or North Dakota. Or Oklahoma. It might be OK for some people, maybe even fodder for a musical, but not for RIDE-Arc. We apologize in advance for not providing a monthly dosing of the minimum 8% grade.
**** THE MEETING PLACE FOR THIS RIDE IS IN WATTS!!! 103rd Street Station of the Blue Line****
**** WE ARE STARTING AT 9:00 PM, THIS IS EARLIER THAN USUAL... see below****
Location Map: http://tinyurl.com/4u74xc
We meet up between 8:30 and 9:00, we'll try to head out around 9:00 pm, this is earlier than usual and with the intention that we can get back in time for some people to catch the last Blue Line train headed North. If some miss the last train headed out, there might be a large peloton going in your direction (or relative to that). Working together, like this, works.
