I was surfing the web and stumbled upon this:

It seems cool and I think it would be cool for people who know each other to pitch in together to either have spare bikes for friends or seeing how there is a wave of theft going around to just have a cheap spare on hand.

Just a thought.

By the way, I am sorta new around here. I have been a spectator on the forums for about a month but have yet to be on a ride. I am hoping to get out there soon when my work schedule can lineup with the ride schedule. I am really looking forward to seeing you guys out there very soon.

Yeah, I'd just like to figure out where the recovered road bikes go. Supposedly Property Room gets all the unclaimed stolen bikes from LAPD, but most of what they auction off are generic POS mountain bikes that are hardly worth the gas money to pick up.
