YOU CAN USE A SMALL ADJUSTABLE WRENCH TO REMOME THEM, JUST REMEMBER THAT BOTH PEDALS DO NOT UNSCREW IN THE SAME DIRECTION, SO LOOK AT YOUR REPLACEMENT PEDALS TO DETERMINE THE CORRECT DIRECTION TO UNSCREW THEM. GOOD LUCK.

Rotate from the top toward the rear wheel to loosen both sides. Go the other way to tighten.
A 15mm open ended wrench will work on many pedals, but not all. Sometimes, the require a very thin wrench. Many pedals also have an allen head on the inside, so you can unscrew with a 6mm allen wrench from the back of the crank.
