Well, the Rio Bravo, Rio Hondo, Rio Gra....whatever the fuck it is Bike Path was kind of scattered with construction along it's way-route from Montebello to LBC.
This meant having to traipse through parks, golf courses, and riding along with some city-slickers on some fine, Appaloosa's.
After finally getting to downtown LBC, I traipsed the towering metro-area until a deputy DA pointed me towards the court building.
I went inside, checked my pistol belt in with the LASD security-assistants at the front, and made my way to Floor 2/Rm 203.
I showed them my ticket, which had been signed off by the CHP, and they knocked the $200 violation down to $10!!!!!!
I paid for that, said g'day to the lovely courtroom clerk, and rode down to the Blue Line.
I then took the Blue Line to Firestone, and rode back to the yard and fired up my rig.
No drama, and quite a lovely ride.

That construction has been going on for over a year.
Its a pain in the ass to haul my bike over the wall, down into the river bed and back up...in two different places.
I keep forgetting to avoid the Rio Hondo River north of Imperial.
I just did it again two weeks ago.
They don't look like they'll be done any time soon.
