Congratulations to LA Bike Polo who won 1st and 2nd place this weekend at the Smack In Da Middle Polo Tournament in Fresno, Calif.
2nd place team, Brian (blackout_blacklung), Sarah (Danya) and No Love, fought their way out of the losers bracket to meet 1st place team, Joker (Tallcans), David and Jush for the final game of LA Vs. LA.
Way to go, LA for representing our city and making it known that there is nothing comparable to Los Angeles.
Yeah awesome weekend for sure. Best part was No Manor slaughtering Frisco, 5-2 and it wasn't even as close as the score would suggest. Truly a cohesive team featuring a dominant shooter in NoLove, a shrieiking and bruising forecheck from Lil Sarah, and a shutdown defender in Brick. Definitely a fierce squad. No Love def owned the MVP vote, but if you ask me, Brian got robbed on Sexiest male.
That's what I was saying all day yesterday! Brian absolutely got robbed of his award. And his bag. The first numbers they called for the raffle, Brian had them, in his back pocket.
LA won the bench match with SF. Just a 1 game setup, 10-9. It's worth noting tho the court was less than ideal for a bench format game, and as a result LA should have had a penalty for too many men on the ice, but it wasn't called.
Seriously, No Manor and the other LA team, it was like watching the Lakers and The Clippers play. Not a stretch to like the SF squad to the Golden State Warriors either haha jk
