I don't like to do it.... but I do do it.... I give people the boot. It doesn't do much. They inevitably already have multiple accounts or they just re-register. That's why I tend to let the trolls live on...
Just remember, it's not that serious. I truly believe that people who troll, live to regret their words under the pressure of the love of this community and just life in general. Life can't be that bad can it? The fake account trolls are more outrageous I suppose, but eventually everyone slips up and reveals themselves, and thus eventually regrets authoring some of the harshest of words.
These jokers might even have a few years of suckJoy inside them painting a forum with that negative atmosphere... But eventually I believe they will grow tired of that cynical view of the world. or their posts consistently carry so much snark their words become irrelevant and almost invisible to everyone. No longer getting a reaction i beleve they will eventually move on to find another forum to spend time on.
Of course not all the fakers are assholes... Some of the fake accounts are humorous. Crybaby was kinda funny... Knittens was funny.... I like bikecowski and Satan on a tricycle used to roast user1 pretty Effin good. I think everyone agreed that oodles of poodles was about as funny as a fart at a funeral. Finally saxphone guy'd himself to oblivion. Haha fake accounts are part of the humor on here anyway... So hate on you trolls but just think about your words coming back to you. Some have accidentally outed themselves before, it'll happen again. just hope that your fake account was perceived as funny or constructive and not psycho or weird. Haha.
