just got word of a rider down at Moorpark and Colfax. run over by car... waiting for more info

not really, more like down the street.
it feels like cars have been getting more aggro in the valley. :(

Glad I checked before I left, opportunity missed.
And yes, cars definitely seem to have gotten more aggro around here, even to each other. Amy (the one with the blue hair at last Bike 'n' Bake) got mad crazy rear ended just a few weeks ago.

Just got back from riding over to Moorpark and Colfax.
The guys at the Village Market said there was an accident there and said it happened on Colfax just about 150 feet south of the south/west corner. Beyond that, they had no info.
The odd thing is, there's a double-wide bike lane on the west side of Colfax, but there are two driveways/parking lots at the supposed spot of the incident, so...
I hope the rider is okay.

my area.. that sucks.
drivers in the valley have no idea whats going on. i hope it wasnt one of the local fixie tykes.

Thats my hood !
I live on Moorpark which has gone from a residental street into a Frwy alternate.
The average speed is 50mph +
Colfax has a nice bike lane but has also turned into a frwy.
Lately every time I roll out I say my prayers give my cat a final pat on the head,
as I may not be coming home.
