I think it would be really difficult with any normal fixed gear gearing. You're looking at 15 miles of climbing, some of it pretty steep. It's up to you to decide if you are a monster.

It's 50 miles one way. Train back from Acton. Though you could just ride back and make it a century....

Metrolink may not be running, but Alex sent out an email this morning that says there is a Plan B. I don't think the air quality will be an issue because we will be riding up and away from the direction of the smoke. I could be wrong though! I'd like to just ride back, but I have not been riding much at all and don't know if I'll really feel like it. I'm also easily persuaded to do things that go against my own common sense.

POSTPONED. Alex just called it. Probably will run the Saturday night closest to the full moon in December.
yo Roadblock: we should ride together sometime. I want to do some hill rides leading into Feel My Legs this year. Will keep you/everyone posted.
