Is it wrong to be so hyped so early about the next Ridazz (November 10)? Well if it is I don't wanna be right -- especially since I'm now officially wearing my excitement on my sleeve, or rather on my chest as shown.
If you haven't yet heard, the upcoming "La Noche De Los Biciclistas Muertos" ride is gonna feature a Ridazz first: T-shirts
I'm pretty sure it all started when Ridah Raymond posted an idea for a ride to take place during the traditional
Dia De Los Muertos period at the end of October/start of November. Accompanying his post was an awesome graphic of skeletons on cycles and blammo! Pretty soon, people were screaming for shirts to be made, and it was decided that it would be the November Midnight Ridazz regalia.
Long story short, I rolled over to meet Raymond today, dropped him his suggested retail price of 10 bones, picked up my awesome shirt and suggest you gear-up and get going quick like to
Raymond if you wanna snag one of these high-quality limited-edition collectibles — not only because they rock and he's only charging $10 for them, but also because Raymond's purportedly planning a special treat for those wearing them La Noche De Noviembre Diez.

RIDE ON! 10 bones for the shirt and the lil extra cash from the shirts is going towards the special treat for the people sporting the shirts the night of the ride.
The date on the shirt matches the date of the ride and there is a 4 inch midnight ridazz skull on the back of the shirt below the neck.

Tomorrow evening I'm meeting up with more people. I'm going to be meeting up with people at the Rite Aid on Hollywood and Vermont. Would you like to get your shirt then?

730 is probably not going to be good for me... I just realized that today there is a secret meeting about the fate of griffith park amongst the "planners" and the local officials. seems some devolpers are pushing to make grffith park into a shopping mall. Fuck that.
I'm crashing that party.
it's at 6:30 today if anyone is interested in saving one of our last public parks. the last thing I want to see is another goddamned city walk plopped in the middle of my favorite riding escape.
This morning the Recreation & Parks Department notified the
Working Group that the October 2nd Griffith Park Draft Master Plan
meeting has been moved to October 16th due to Yom Kippur and
Columbus Day. the postponement does not appear on the Rec & Parks web site. Neither does the new meeting date. Rec & Parks has not posted the date of Working Group Master Plan meetings for several months, even though the public asks them to do so at every meeting.

Yeah, I'll have some shirts the night of the ride as well. Til then my mission is to try and get them out to as many people as possible so it can act as a walking flyer to build up the ride a bit more.
Just got more large and extra large shirts tonight. Ask and you shall receive. I also put in the order for smalls, XXLs, and more mediums.

Once again. Tonight, Wednesday the 18th, I'll be distributing t-shirts at the Rite Aid on Hollywood and Vermont at 7:30pm. Only have a few mediums left, but I've got a ton of Large and Extra Large!

Raymond... talk to my boy about printing the shirts before you proceed with another batch. he can do them for a little more than half what you are paying your guy. you own the screens since you paid for the setup so your guy should hand them over unless he is ethically challenged.

The next 30 XL and 8 L I sell will be only 5 bucks each. My printer guy printed out way too many and is almost giving them away to me, and now you all get to benefit from this.
