Hey los angeles peoples. I spent a few years out here a while back. I was fat and out of shape and had not been riding my bike for a minute. Now that I have moved back home I have ditched my car and only ride a bike. One less car baby.
All that aside. I got a friend out here I am visiting and he wants to buy a bike. He is looking for a Bianchi Pista. Can you all suggest some shops we could check out. I am in Sherman Oaks and will be making my way down to Whittier later today. Anything in between here and there would be best but I would be willing to travel far and wide to check out a good shop. Thanks for any help and RIDE YER BIKE!
PEACE_

There's a shop on 23rd and Santa Monica Blvd in Santa Monica called Cynergy. They carry the Bianchi Pista bikes there.

If they don't have the right size for you anywhere in LA, The Path in Tustin may have your size: http://www.thepathbikeshop.com

I need a little help. I haven't been to many bike shops, and have definitely not been to all of them. I know
of most of them, but have not checked. I have limited time, and I wanna buy a U-Lock today. What shop can I go to that will have the cheapest prices? I know locks are expensive, but if I don't have to spend an extra 15$ or whatever, that would be pretty nice.

@redwine
i think most shops carry pistas now because of the whole track bike/ fixed gear craze, BUT if you wanna save some money, check craigslist for used pistas.
ive noticed that i constantly see used pistas bought like a year or two ago and people are getting rid of them. im guessing its folks that jumped on the bandwagon then realized theyre too lazy to ride bikes.
anywho, ive seen some of them for like 350 or so and at shops, the newer models are like 600 or something like that.
@rbi
ha! hahahaha!
one less pista/riser bar/ 650 wheel/ uncontrolled skid/ etc etc
fuck it.
hey, anybody selling used bullhorns?
