TEAM MIDNIGHT RIDAZZ Beachylicious Training Ride
Saturday, December 13
Meet at 10am
Bike District, Melrose and Heliotrope
This is an easy, 35-mile ride to the beach and back, maybe with some nomz in the middle. If you're curious about joining the team, this is the time to come see what we're all about.
Seriously, there are no hills on this thing, despite Danny's best efforts.

that said, it is a training ride, so we're gonna help y'all ride MOAR BETTER. when you got 500 miles ahead of you, you can't dilly dally too much.
this is an intermediate level training ride to help draw folks out of their comfort zone and help them to progress in riding skill. the team will be sharing their insights about nutrition, hydration, and other things that start to become important as you start going longer and longer distances.

I'm excited! Since this is an easy ride, I might as well do it fixed.

yeah you should be fine on a hybrid if your tires are properly inflated. mtb will have trouble keeping up, probably. i did most of my ALC training last year on a hybrid, actually. keep pulling one of those heavy ass things up a hill and i guarantee in a couple of months you'll have legs that look like those hams you see hanging up at xmas, just slabs of muscle hanging off 'em.

I don't know if that is the image you want to be showing people to convince them to ride...

The pavement was dry and the sun was out. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful ride albeit somewhat windy. Lunch in Venice was perfect, cruising through Beverly Hills on Rodeo Road and down Melrose gave this out-of-town rider a chance to be a tourist.
