Bike Tattooing

I have long imagined a bike tattooing event where craftspeople skilled in working on different materials and methods (ie engraving metal, painting or stamping leather, pin-striping, could work on various people's bike parts, to indelible and uniquely mark them.
It would also be cool to have a DIY area for those who are artistically inclined and/or low on funds.
The idea would be to give people options to mark their bike as unique, equally for aesthetics, personalization, theft recovery, and theft deterrence.

this is a fantastic idea.
i have a new bike im building up, and i would love to hand over the fork to someone to go to town on it.
my only request would be that it only have the colors red and/or white

I met a cat many moons ago on an MR ride that does engravings. His bike was totally decked out in his work. The whole thing was fresh as fuck. I'll post his business card when I get home on saturday.

I read the title of this thread and immediately started thinking,
"Bike Tatooine".
I do that all the time when I'm home.

Wow... glad to hear all the excitement.
I guess we have to figure out a time and a place.
If we invite artisans we gotta make it worth their while.
I am also really interested in having a DIY area, so people can do their shit up cheap.

Web page?
I've been wanting to make head badges for people on my CNC mill, but need a small slip roll to make the contour correct.
