 This actually happened on a ride once, although it wasn't planned. We just went right past the checkpoint and the cops didn't pay the slightest attention to us. I *think* it was the Solstice Ride, December 2006, although I could be remembering it wrong.

 Happened on the Glo Ride too, as we were coming down San Fernando. I don't think anybody had any trouble, but it was funny to watch the Ridazz with open containers panicking as they saw the lights coming up. It was like a Tecate can rainstorm, so many people were ditching their booze.
