Just curious,
Where do each of you in the Aids LifeCycle Midnight Ridazz TEAM stand in your goal to raise funds for the ALC ride?
Perhaps seeing this info may inspire other Ridazz to contribute and help you gais to meet your goals. What other plans do you have, separately or as a group, to raise the money within the next 25 days before the event?

I'm all set with my donations and as RBI posted the Team MR link, you can see who is still light on funds. There are several more fundraising events in the works, but the closest one is this Saturday night's LA Bike Culture Photo exhibit and sale at the Bike Oven. And the Spoke(n) Art ride will be passing through too!
Thanks for asking.
Oh yeah, Food and drinks will be available too along with Meghan's world famous cookies. I think JC Hungerford will be providing his Internationally renowned Gumbo.

We had not been planning on a raffle, but if you had goods you were willing to contribute, maybe we could do some kind of raffle or make additional sales. You're awesome Ashira!

Training has been going great, but we have some catching up to do on the fundraising front.
In a nutshell we have collectively raised about $30,000!!!, and have several people who have reached their minimum and are totally good to go. However if everyone registered is to make their goal and be allowed to participate in the 545 mile ride, we have nearly another $20,000 to go. This can seem daunting, but we've been making a lot of progress in recent weeks, and Roadblock's screen printing party brought him from almost nothing to almost half way done in one fell swoop.
The photo show at the Oven on Saturday is our next major fundraising effort, and details about other ideas will be announced soon. Members of the team can also be seen on ridazz events, sometimes doing their own fundraising selling spoke cards, cookies, and now t-shirts. We have also been doing group fundraising outside of the ridazz community with things like a recent yard sale, and have some ideas for other ideas to reach more audiences.
The following ridazz have much money to left to raise to hit that $2,500 mark.

I just put $50 in the MR paypal thing which is intended to go to team MR. It just occurred to me that I probably could have done paypal via the team MR website, but I didn't think of that until it is too late. I already gave a bunch of money for regular MR website expenses, so that should go to team MR, roadblock. Strangely, it never gave me a place to submit a comment to go along with the donation, like it usually does. Divvy it up however you guys want, so long as I get me some cookies!

ahh tell you what I will return the money and you can send it over to team Midnight Ridazz that way there's no paypal double dipping on the fees....

I have $397.00 Ihave a long way to go. I beleive it will happen. I have the time off from work so if iI don't make my money I'm going to be very pised the f off. I've got some things going on. I hope they all pull together. I'm rider 5823. HELP!

Given the number of ALC ridazz who are quite a ways from their goal, I have no idea who to donate to. Who's still serious about making their goal? ALC doesn't let riders move their donations from one rider to another, and I'd like to be sure that my donations go to riders who are reasonably certain that they will make their goal, so that I can be sure I'm actually moving someone toward getting on the ride. I think you guys would be wise to set up a paypal account to collect money and then divvy the funds up at the last possible time. Splitting equally amongst the riders won't be too terribly helpful if it means that the group donations don't take any riders up over their $2500 minimum.
I'm going to hold off doing paypal and just give money at one of your fundraising events. But I still want cookies!!

Hey Idea, I hear ya, but seriously we're all trying very hard to get our totals up, I thank you so much for sponsoring us, Next year I'd like to see 100 Midngiht Ridazz representing in the AIDS ride (or similar charity ride/event.)

Btw, Each rider can 'turn on' or 'turn off' the donation totals from showing. So if someone's page just shows the goal it doesn't necessarily mean they haven't raised any money.
Btw, i've met my minimum, so any profit i get from the exhibit will be spread among the riders who need it.

Isn't he adorable, the baby of the group. But only because he's our baby doesn't mean he don't kick our ass on our rides.
PC:
$100 for a full arrest including, getting pulled off your bike, having to lean on your vehicle, padding down, and cuffing. $10 per baton strike.

Woot! I want to give a big thanks to the support from this community. I've been watching peoples totals inch up, and I know some of that is ridazz given dollarzz. Big props, if we can keep this up we'll have quite an entourage rolling from SF to LA, and an epic pile of cash to give in the fight against AIDS.

If you's aminals ain't at the Bike Oven, I highly suggest that you get thar quicker than greased lightning. Not only is sexy Randy tending bar, Gary and Steve's photos really do add some class to the joint.

OMG!!! We are riding in two days!! WE HAVE COLLECTIVELY RAISED OVER $50,000!!! IN THE FIGHT AGAINST AIDS!! That is so freakin crazy, my brain is going to explode!!
