Jezzus, not everyone visiting MR spends every waking functional hour reading every single thread and post. This sites so damn clunky and disorganized anyway, it's not exactly easy to know if something has been posted before. Chill out, let it ride.

"REPOST!" just seems so pompous
not everybody visits here every day
and not that everybody uses the search function
but many threads are not titled very accurately and the search function here isn't necessarily that great.
I don't see revisiting a subject or commiting a repost crime as spam, its just part of the craziness of communications flying around here and on the interwebzz... it not really that big a deal. you can help people clean up those connections with out acting like a jerk. but by playing the repost cop, being condescending and attacking people's intellect you ARE spamming the threads with bullshit.
